Its been a while so let's catch up......

It's been a super busy start to the year here at Wild Highlands Coffee HQ, so I thought we'd bring you up to date with all the Wild Highlands Coffee shenanigans.

Grab yourself a freshly roasted coffee of choice.....and let's have a catch up!

Firstly, if you've been on our journey from the start, you'll have noticed our new coffee bags and hopefully you'll be pleased that they're now recyclable!   It's something I've wanted to achieve from day one and we finally got there.

We then launched our new Coffee to Go, coffee bags.  We grabbed a bag (or several) of our Bothy freshly roasted coffee beans, sent them to the guys who can, and a short while later, our roasted beans were magically returned to us in the form of neat and compact coffee bags.

The success of these wee bags of convenient coffee deliciousness has been phenomenal, far more than we could've anticipated.  When a product that's just right, speaks for itself, the combination of simplicity and great coffee, just works.

Sometime in February, we were given the opportunity to take on a second coffee shop, located in the picturesque village of Luss.  Our Coffee House has become very popular and our Team are simply Fabulous.  Word quickly travels and when we were invited to grow our wee coffee offerings with a second venue in such a beautiful part of Scotland, it was an opportunity we couldn't refuse.

Luss reminds me of the origins of Wild Highlands Coffee, the love of the outdoors, the quality of a great product and the friendliness and kindness of the community, and it just felt right for Wild Highlands Coffee to grow into this space.

The journey started sometime early in March, planning, recruiting, mobilizing, ironing out a gazillion issues, jumping through hoops like some crazed trapeze artist, all in a bid to open in time for Easter.

The aim....to mirror our current Coffee House offering, so our customers receive the same caring service and great coffee at either coffee shops. The site was agreed, the 'wannabe' Airsteam was purchased and the fit-out commenced.   Many long nights later, and we finally opened at the end of March.   If you're looking for us in Luss, you'll find us in the South Car Park, next to the Lomond Arms Hotel.

And, because we never make life easy for ourselves, we consolidated our operational sites into one central location. Our coffee is still roasted at the roastery, but our office, packing, distribution and storage solutions, are now operated from one location.

Today we get to pack coffee surrounded by the beautiful Scottish landscape, with Beinn Dubh keeping a close eye on operations.

It's always worth remembering, whilst so much has been achieved in such a sort space of time, none of this could ever have come close to happening without the amazing team that sits behind the scenes at Wild Highlands Coffee.  A manic time, filled with laughter, banter, made an incredibly stressful (tear free) few months feel like it was easily achievable.

Of course, there's never a dull day at Wild Highlands Coffee, although this is us for now, the new venture and next chapter is nipping at the heels and hopefully you'll be able to join us along this journey of madness, but for today, that's us!

We hope this reaches you all safe and well and you have enjoyed our little catch up.

Thank you to you all for continuing to support us, it means more than you know.
